The Strom Fittings Pack for Combi Boilers provides the isolation valves needed to make the final heating and hot water connections to a Strom electric combi boiler. The pack includes two 22mm flat-faced isolation valves for the central heating flow and return, two 15mm flat-faced isolation valves for the domestic hot water inlet and outlet, and a 15mm male union for added flexibility when finishing off the pipework.
The flat-faced design lets in-line devices such as magnetic filters or scale reducers be fitted and removed without draining the system, and allows the boiler itself to be isolated for future servicing without draining the whole heating circuit.
The pack covers both connection sizes used on Strom electric combi boilers: 22mm (3/4") for the central heating flow and return, and 15mm (1/2") for the domestic hot water inlet and outlet, as set out in Strom's combi installation guidance.
The included 15mm male union makes it easier to align and tighten the final domestic hot water joint without putting strain on the boiler's internal pipework, where over-tightening of irons can cause damage that isn't covered under warranty.
This pack covers isolation on the heating and hot water connections only. Strom's installation guide separately requires a filling loop, an automatic bypass valve (ABV), and a drain point at the lowest point of the heating system - none of these are included in this pack and should be sourced and fitted separately as part of a complete installation.
