The Story

The Biasi Antares 25C is Biasi's flagship wall-hung condensing combi boiler, delivering 25 kW of heating and instantaneous domestic hot water output. Manufactured at Biasi's advanced Italian facility — where every unit is individually tested before leaving the production line — the Antares represents the pinnacle of the Biasi domestic boiler family. It features a 1:10 modulation ratio, a fully plastic-free brass hydraulic group, Grundfos ErP-rated circulating pump, Adaptive Gas Technology (NG / LPG / 20% Hydrogen Ready), and a large multifunctional touch-sensitive display. This pack pairs the boiler with the Biasi Horizontal Flue Kit (Ø 60/100 mm) for a standard wall-exit installation. The Antares 25C carries an ErP Energy Class A rating as standard — upgradable to A+ with the optional iControl weather-compensation system — and is backed by a 9-year warranty when registered within 30 days of installation — extendable to 10 years with a Biasi magnetic filter or Pro-Fit accreditation.

Installation — Gas Safe Engineer Required. This appliance must be installed and commissioned by a Gas Safe Registered Engineer in accordance with current Gas Safety (Installation & Use) Regulations, BS 7671, and the Biasi installation manual. LPG conversion and gas-type changes must only be performed by a competent engineer using the on-board CAF calibration function.
Horizontal Flue — Max 10 m (Ø 60/100 coaxial). The included horizontal flue kit provides a direct through-wall exit. Each 45° elbow deducts 0.5 m and each 90° elbow deducts 1 m from the 10 m maximum. For installations requiring a larger offset or central boiler alignment, the Biasi Offset Flue Adaptor (10999.1492.0) is available — no reduction in maximum flue length. The Antares is also compatible with C13, C33, C43/C53/C83/C93, B23P, and C63 flue configurations.
Pack Contents: Biasi Antares 25C combi boiler + Horizontal Flue Kit (Ø 60/100 mm, Part No. 10999.0387.1). The boiler ships with all isolation valves with pre-formed copper pipes, condensate drain adaptor, wall mounting plate, paper template, power supply cable, user/installation/service manual, and warranty documentation. *Warranty: 9 years when registered within 30 days of installation; 10 years with Biasi magnetic filter fitted or Pro-Fit accreditation. Annual service by a Gas Safe Registered Engineer required throughout.
1:10 Modulation Ratio

With a 1:10 turn-down ratio, the Antares can operate at as little as 1/10th of its maximum output — ideal for well-insulated properties and underfloor heating systems with very low heat loss. Reduced cycling, quieter operation, and a longer boiler life are the direct benefits of this wide modulation range.

Adaptive Gas Technology

The eGarc electronic combustion management system continuously reads the flame signal and adjusts gas valve and fan output to maintain optimum CO₂ levels. One model covers Natural Gas, LPG, and up to 20% hydrogen blends — no hardware changes required for gas-type conversion.

Plastic-Free Brass Hydraulic Group

The Antares uses a fully brass hydraulic unit — replacing the plastic components found in older designs. Brass is completely recyclable, more durable under pressure cycling, and significantly reduces the risk of stress fractures over the boiler's working life. This is a key differentiator versus many competitor models.

Stainless Steel AISI 441 Heat Exchanger

The seamless single-coil primary heat exchanger in stainless steel AISI 441 offers high-temperature strength combined with superior corrosion resistance. Its large oval-section geometry promotes constant water flow, prevents debris accumulation, reduces friction losses, and makes flushing easy. The coil count is sized to the boiler output (10.5 coils for the 25C).

Grundfos ErP Circulating Pump

The Grundfos UPM4 7.5 m head ErP pump uses PWM technology to generate precisely the correct flow for prevailing demand. Features include an integrated air purge, built-in drain tap, and manual pump unlock — simplifying commissioning and servicing. High performance combined with low standby consumption meets current EuP/ErP requirements.

Multifunctional Touch Display

The large backlit LCD touch interface simultaneously displays live system pressure, DHW set temperature, CH set temperature, and primary circuit temperature. The touch-sensitive control buttons navigate Summer/Winter/Off modes, DHW and CH adjustment, and the full programming menu including Chimney Sweep, Calibration, Fault History, and the annual service reminder countdown.

Clapet Non-Return Valve

The Antares is supplied as standard with a Clapet non-return valve in the flue circuit, enabling simplified connection to pressurised collective flue systems in accordance with UNI 7129. The damper opens automatically under fan pressure during operation and closes at rest to prevent back-flow of combustion products in shared flue scenarios.

10-Litre Expansion Vessel

The 10-litre expansion vessel (cold pre-charge 1 bar) accommodates systems up to 124 litres total water content, covering the majority of domestic heating installations without the need for an additional external vessel. The vessel is side-mounted and easily accessible for re-pressurisation or replacement during service.

A+/A Energy Class & Wi-Fi Ready

The Antares achieves ErP Energy Class A as supplied and A+ when paired with the optional iControl weather-compensation kit (advanced control + external probe + WFC01 app). Wi-Fi connectivity via the Biasi App enables remote temperature control, real-time monitoring, and instant fault-code notification.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes the Antares different from the Biasi Dina?
The Antares is Biasi's top-of-range domestic boiler and builds on the Dina platform with several key upgrades: a 1:10 modulation ratio (vs 1:5 on the Dina), a 10-litre expansion vessel (vs 7 L), the Grundfos ErP pump, a fully brass hydraulic group, a Clapet non-return valve as standard, and a larger higher-max CH temperature range of 85°C. The Antares also has a wider flue compatibility range and supports a 9-year warranty (10 years with filter or Pro-Fit).
How do I qualify for the 10-year warranty?
The Antares carries a 9-year warranty when registered with Biasi within 30 days of installation, extendable to 10 years with either a Biasi magnetic filter fitted to the system or the installer holding Pro-Fit accreditation. Annual servicing by a Gas Safe Registered Engineer is required to maintain the warranty throughout its period.
Is the Antares suitable for underfloor heating systems?
Yes — the 1:10 modulation ratio makes the Antares particularly well suited to underfloor heating, where low flow temperatures (typically 35–45°C) are required and precise modulation is critical to avoid overheating. When paired with an external weather-compensation probe, the boiler continuously adjusts its flow temperature to match the actual heat demand, maximising efficiency and occupant comfort.
What fault codes does the Antares display and can I read them remotely?
The Antares stores the last 10 fault codes in its on-board Fault History menu, each time-stamped and accessible via the control panel under the main menu. Fault codes E01–E99 plus L1 cover ignition lockouts, probe failures, pressure faults, fan anomalies, and gas valve issues. When connected to Biasi Connect Wi-Fi, fault notifications are also pushed to the user's smartphone in real time.
Can the Antares connect to a third-party smart thermostat?
Yes. The Antares accepts a volt-free room thermostat connection between terminals A and B (remove the bridge link when connecting any external control). The boiler is also compatible with OpenTherm-class controls when used with an appropriate interface. The E1–E2 terminals accept an external temperature probe for weather compensation. Refer to the installation manual panel connection diagram for full wiring details.
What is the automatic calibration (CAF) function?
The Fast Calibration (CAF) function is accessed via General Settings → Access Level (code 6683) → Service → Assistance → Special Functions. It takes approximately 4 minutes to run and electronically calibrates the gas valve for the current supply gas, ensuring optimal combustion without requiring a flue analyser in routine gas-type changes. It should also be run after replacing the gas valve or main PCB.
