The Ariston Vertical Starter (Part No. 3318079) is the mandatory boiler-to-flue adaptor required for every vertical coaxial flue installation on Ariston's HE condensing boiler range. It clamps to the boiler's exhaust manifold and provides the push-fit Ø60/100 mm socket into which the vertical flue terminal kit seats above — creating the sealed transition that directs combustion gases upward through the ceiling and roof rather than horizontally through the wall. Without the vertical starter, neither the standard domestic vertical flue kits (3318080, 3318081) nor the leisure 100mm kit (3319235) can connect to the boiler.
