The EHC Comet PV 14.4kW/200L Electric Boiler & Indirect Cylinder Package (EHCEPV14.4/200IND) pairs a multi-output electric system boiler, field-configurable across 7.2 / 9.6 / 12.0 / 14.4kW, with a 200-litre Neptune Indirect Unvented Stainless Steel Cylinder. Supplied as a matched heat pack from The Electric Heating Company, it is designed as a single-source solution for wet central heating, underfloor heating, and domestic hot water in properties without mains gas — with Solar PV integration, weather compensation, and optional Smart App control built in as standard.
Qualified Installation Required
This boiler must be installed, commissioned, and electrically connected by a qualified electrician in accordance with BS7671. The unvented cylinder is a controlled service under Building Regulation G3 (England & Wales), Technical Standard P3 (Scotland), or Building Regulation Part F (Northern Ireland) and must only be fitted by a competent, G3-qualified installer. A magnetic filter must be fitted to the boiler — failure to do so will invalidate the manufacturer's warranty.
Solar PV & Smart Control Ready
The boiler's FN input can be wired directly to a solar PV inverter's load-management relay, allowing surplus generation to be diverted into space heating or the cylinder's domestic hot water (up to 60°C) instead of exporting to the grid. Adding the optional C.MI2 Internet Module (AHP1004) unlocks remote app control, while the C.MG3 Heating Zone Control Module (EC10018) allows the boiler to manage multiple heating circuits — for example underfloor heating and radiators — at independent temperatures.

Weather Compensation

Automatic Anti-Legionella Cycle
A configurable disinfection routine raises cylinder temperature to a set point on a chosen day and time, addressing Legionella risk without requiring manual intervention.
Backup Immersion Heating
The cylinder's 3kW Incoloy immersion element, rated 45–65°C with an 85°C high-limit cut-out, provides electric backup water heating independent of the boiler's primary circuit.
Cascade & Multi-Zone Capable
